Social events: (other than weddings)

The company undertakes a limited variety of social events (in addition to weddings) such as re-unions, birthdays, anniversaries, engagements, retirements etc. providing they are held in fairly spacious venues such as village halls, church halls, club rooms and hotels. Filming cannot be undertaken in residential premises unless of a large size and with a limited number attending. 

Outdoor assignments such as meetings, sports events, personal or family documentaries and various outings can be covered but would be much dependant on weather conditions. 

As a rule, social events are filmed with a single camera and post-edited, however, the company would be pleased to film any event with two cameras and operators providing space permits. 

The company would make itself familiar with the customer's/organiser's requirements especially with regard to the purpose of the event, the principal characters involved and any 'surprises' the camera operator needs to know about and be prepared for. 

Within this category (but could well come under commercial events) is coverage of stage plays and musicals when the company would use at least 3 cameras with filming/editing done 'on-line'. Full facilities would be available for commercial music groups but a more simpler arrangement can be undertaken for say, school plays or church events. 

Full titles, specially requested images, personal interviews etc.can be included provided adequate notice is given before or during the event. 

Prices are charged by the hour (see price list) but attention is drawn to the minimum total amount of any social assignment the company is able to undertake.
